| Hey there. I have a problem, and I thought you guys could help me solve it. From time to time, when I try to boot my OS – Vista Home, it does not detect IDE hard drive. It can be really annoying, especially having in mind the fact that it used to function just fine.I do not know what can be the problem of this. Any ideas? |

| Well, did you check your BIOS settings? Did you check if your hard disk drive/drives are being recognized well in BIOS? If they are not, it can be the cause of such behavior. I don’t think that your Vista can have the problem if everything in BIOS is set right, so you should really check that out first place. Of course, you could check if all your cables are connected well, maybe try pulling them out and back in. Sometimes, such problems appear form the reasons which are incredibly stupid, and you just have to be a genius to realize what is causing them. |
