I am looking to make some hardware upgrade. Mainly, I want to buy new video card. I am using computer primarily for gaming so I need strong video card that can support new games and be at least DirectX 9.0C compatible (if not DirectX10). I do not care if it is NVidia or ATI just as far as it is good and fast. Can you give me some advice what card to purchase.

You havent mention do you need AGP or PCIExpress video card. If you need AGP video card then your options are limited because strongest AGP video cards are already outdated and new ones will not have AGP support. In this are you can choose between NVidia 6600 GTS and ATI Radeon x1650XT. If you need PCIExpress card then you will have to do a little searching. There are many cards and you will be limited only with your budget so buy according to it.
