Hello dear friends! I need some help from you guys. I am a complete beginner when it comes to computers and their security. Now, since I have started using internet, I was wondering which kind of files , that are opened by browse, can be potential danger for the system? I would like to know, in order to avoid them. Is VBScript dangerous for example?

They can be dangerous, I think, but I doubt you can avoid them. I mean, you can, as well as Java Script, but it can in a significant way limit your behavior on the net. I do not think you should worry about those things that much. Set your security settings to medium level, than install some good antivirus program and of course stay away from the sites that looks suspicious. I used to go o those sites where you could find many cracks and patches, but they are impossible to visit without catching a virus or a Trojan. So, you should just avoid them, and have your system regularly updated.
