I have dual-core AMD processor and I’d like to upgrade BIOS. How to do that? I have never done BIOS upgrade and I know that it’s recommended to do it in order for PC to function properly. Do you think that it’s complicated? I’ve always thought that it’s just like when you install any other driver that is updated.

I’m not quite sure that you should do it by yourself. I know that many people like to maintain their PCs but I think that upgrading BIOS is not as simple as it seems to you. Besides if you make a mistake I’m not sure that your PC would be able to boot. I’m telling you: don’t mess with BIOS because it’s very tricky. Other drivers can be uninstalled and the only thing you can mess is that particular device, but here we’re talking about the whole machine. You would have to have it serviced. I know I sound as if I’m discouraging you, but it’s just that I think that it’s a job that somebody who fixes PCs should do.
