Hello. I have heard that my mobo model has option to boot from the USB flash drive. But, with the new BIOS, actually the latest. And I think this is so cool as I am really willing to try both features. I want to try puppy Linux on my PC, but first I must do some flashing, right? Well, I must say that this is never done before by me, and I am still not sure can I mess up with this things. How much damage can I make to my computer if something goes wrong? Thanks in advance.

How much bad? Well, you can make that much bad that you can kill your motherboard for the eternity. Yes, your computer can be completely dead. And if power suddenly disappear during the flash procedure, that would be it. But, all of that can be done from Windows. Asus EZ flash or easy update makes thing much more easier. I did those things twice so far, and I was lucky. So, why you wouldn’t be?
