I’m unsure about local network speed and it seems to me that it is pretty slow. Can you tell me where to test it? I’m wondering whether I connected everything well and I’m a bit concerned about that. I don’t have anybody to ask about that and I have to do everything on my own. I know that the devices ‘see’ each others and the only problem is the fact that the data transfers are very slow.

I really don’t know how to test the internal, local network speed. I know how to test internet speed, but I doubt that the site used for measuring the speed of the internet connection would be able to test the local network speed. Anyway I think that the problem with slow data transfer between the computers within the network may be cause by some virus or Trojan. I have had a similar situation recently and the difference was that the internet bandwidth was very slow in spite of the fact that I have cable internet. It turned out that both PC from the local network had a very slow connection because there was a Trojan which clogged bandwidth.
