What can you tell me about UNIX-like structurization history? I have to learn something about UNIX for my upcoming test and I can’t say that I understand that. What is actually UNIX? What am I supposed to know about its structure? All I know is that this is a kind of operative system which was later used as a base for creating Linux.

You’re right! Linux has the similar structure like UNIX. This operative system was developed back in the seventies and it survived Microsoft’s expansion and nowadays it is still in use. I must say that I have never tried to use neither UNIX not Linux and I have heard that Linux is much better from Windows, but I must admit that I don’t believe such remarks. All I know is that there are no viruses for this operative system and as such it is very stable, but it seems to me that it is very complicated for home users. Its structure was changing and I think that it is very advanced now, but still I believe that nothing can beat Windows.
