Hello guys! I really need help on this one. Namely, I have a PC and I’ve just bought another. My internet connection is ADSL and when I tried to connect my two PCs in order to share bandwidth, it wouldn’t work. Do I need two routers for that? I’m not so much experienced with networking, if I can call two PCs a network.

Well, only more then three connected PCs are considered to be a network. Let’s get down to your problem. I don’t think you need two routers unless you want each of the PCs to have its own network. I’m maybe not clear, but two routers are used when you have to divide the existing network into two connected networks in order to avoid throttling of the bandwidth. And in your case you just need a simple shared connection. Maybe you haven’t adjusted everything well. So, just get an Ethernet cable and connect it at one and to the PC you’re adding and the other end to one of the LAN ports. I thing this will solve the problem.
