Hi people. I have a problem that bugs me for a long time. I have several computers that are using some old software that can talk only over IPX protocol. Unfortunately, these computers are connected over Internet so only IP connection is possible between them. Is there any way of tunneling IPX over IP?

Hello. There are several ways of tunneling IPX over IP but you will have to say are you running Linux or Windows operating systems. However, you can try IPX VPN over IP (PPTP or L2TP). If you are running Linux then you can use ipxtunnel (download it from Internet). Configuring ipxtunnel is easy. You just have to edit ipxtunnel.conf which is located in /etc/ directory.
