Trying to flash BIOS on Dell Lat

| was trying to flash BIOS on Dell Lat, but I realized I am not so sure I can handle this process. I need to do this badly, because I am not really satisfied with the way my PC is functioning. Now, can somebody please explain me the necessary steps I need to take in order to upgrade BIOS? |

| Hey there dear friend. Flashing BIOS is not that hard, but it is not advisable to do it yourself too, if you are not familiar with the process. I was never really in the mood for trying It out myself, was always scared I would do something wrong. You have to download the upgrade from the internet first, and then to make a bootable application out of it, on a flash memory, cd, or whatever you like. So, after you have made that bootable disk, you need to restart your PC and run an update.You will maybe have to change some options in BIOS, in order to make that device bootable. |
