Trouble installing new card, NX8800 GT

| I bought a new card few days ago, and I am having trouble installing it. It is NX8800 GT I am talking about. I am trying to make it function on Windows XP professional, but it just wont do. I really do not know what might be the problem with it, I started having suspicions it is damaged somehow. |

| Hey there. I seriously doubt it is some serious problem,most likely it means that you have tried to install wrong drivers. It happened to me several times, so I know it is highly possible to other people to happen too. I think you should search for the driver at the manufacturers site, and also read all the specifications there. It is true that sometimes some hardware needs special treatment of such kind - upgrades of BIOS for example, or some changes in BIOS. So, you could use to read a manual,maybe there is somethign useful you could find there. And if you can not make it function after all, contact the vendor. |
