I was using Windows Vista, since I got my Toshiba laptop few months ago. I was not at all satisfied with it, actually I hated Vista, and I decided to switch to XP. I installed it for the first time yesterday, and noticed that there are many drivers missing, including the sound driver, which is very important to me. What shall I do? Many thanks

A. Well, it is normal that Windows XP do not recognize the hardware, because it was non existing when it was created. But, it is not normal how they are forcing people to use Vista, even if they do not need to, or just do not want to.You may have problems trying to make your laptop fully functional with XP, it seems to me they have done everything to make it as much complicated as it is possible.I really had trouble with my HP Compaq. Can you believe I had to flash my BIOS in order to make my network card function? Search manufacturers site thoroughly, you have to be able to find something.
