Hello humans. I speak humans because I like that Ubuntu “Theme” very much, heh.  Anyway, I must resolve one very huge problem and that is my 865 chipset. I just can’t get Ubuntu to work under this chipset using Lilo, and that’s it! Windows XP nicely installed on primary or C: partition and Ubuntu comes right after. The installation is going on fine every time but when the part where the boot loader comes, the problem begins. Lilo won’t work. And I don’t want Grub. Help me please.

Hi there. I never had any problem regarding Intel’s 865 chipset or any other Intel’s brother. Nevermind that, I think that the problem lies in your Ubuntu version or the Distro it self, I don’t know ,I never liked Ubuntu that much, Slackware still rules, remember. Try Vector for example. Canadian version of Slackware based distribution. The most easiest setup ever.
