I am considering to buy DVD burner. This is my first DVD burner and I am not sure which one I should buy. I have been searching around for some info but really got lost in all available models. However, I found NEC 3550A which looks very nice to me and has some good reviews. What are your thoughts on this DVD burner?

Hello. NEC 3550A DVD burner is very good while it works. I had two of these and both of them just died with same symptoms (stopped reading and burning DVDs) after a year. However, some people are saying that this DVD burner works for a long time in their computers. So, if you have luck you can be very satisfied with this DVD burner.
