Has anyone heard about new millennium bug, something about year 2038 in Unix type systems. I kind of heard that information, but remember no details, and those things can really sound a bit funny and interesting to me. Can somebody explain me what this is about, I would really like to hear few things more about it all. Many thanks

Well, I have heard few things about it. It is something similar to the millennium bug in Windows. I think that it has some kind of trouble in recognizing dates. As I have heard Unix and other systems which are based on it, such as Linux for example can recognize the dates from 19021 to 2038, from some kind of reason. But I think there will be no problem with this one, and that it will be solved and completely forgotten about, when that time comes. I think that there are several other bugs that have something to do with certain dates, but the program makers are aware of them and trying to figure out the solution.
