Why does always, something due to the PC configuration that sits in my room, has to be wrong? It is not even huge, only 80 gigabytes inside 2.5" hard drive. The rack is ok I believe, it works slightly faster on every other machine, only my build is "smartass". I have ASUSA7V8X-X motherboard if that means something. Anyway, transfer rate is no more than 10 mb/s. One whole minute for a single DivX format movie, what should I doooo?! |

| You just need to update those chipset drivers constantly and there is no other practice, and even that's questionable. By the way, are you sure that you are using 2.0? That mobo has both 1.1 and 2.0 USB standards on the rear side as I can remember..... However, why don't you try with some other external 2,5" rack? Rack like Colink has to offer. Rack with two USB ending PC connectors. It surely can boost some speed. |
