Hello. I have figured out how servers are working when client wants some sort of information taken from the particular table, for example. That table represents the PHP and the interaction between PHP and html. What I want to know is, can I install required core files for PHP or Perl on my PC, in order to make them work without any server in the near? Thanks in advance.

If you want to use Perl like Excel, yes you can. Off course you can do that. And the difference between excel and Perl is in server placement. Excel cannot perform tasks with server like Perl or PHP are very good at. I believe that you already got the picture with the whole situation. BY the way, I think that there is no software that cannot run on both client and server based configuration.
