Hello! I have Win XP SP1. By reason all instant agitation with Internet Explorer Safety problems I decided to upgrade windows to SP2. Unfortunately hereafter downloading 1.7Mb it perished giving me the next message. “Updates were unable to be successfully installed”. I don’t know what to do I am not smart. Please help! Thanks!

Hi! You made mistake. So, you wanted to upgrade your current windows version. That is not just a 1.7Mb. That is much more. You need to find original SP2 installation disk. But before you decide to upgrade it, remove all useless files from your hard drive. Then install over your SP1 new SP2. It’s simply. That is like installation for some ordinary program.
