| Hello. I have some unwanted situation with an old SCSI hard drive that is working, but not as supposed to, I guess. The problem is within the MDK 9.2 system, which won't recognize it as SCSI. Partition commander does can format this drive as native Linux partition, but no matter that, the MDK is still unable to see the drive afterwards. Can someone tell me is this maybe because of the motherboard? |

| Hello. Well, if you think it is because of the motherboard, than just try to update your BIOS. Upgrade that firmware, on the other hand with this much informations, very small number op people is able to provide an answer. Older technology should work with the most newer Linux distributions I believe. You can change firmware of the SCSI drive as well, too. Why don't you try that, too? |
