I think that I have some problems with my router as my internet connection is very lousy. I’d like to check it out and see what could cause this problem. Do you happen to know of some decent router diagnostic program? Where I can find it and how it is used? This router has been giving me a headache for the last couple of weeks and if it’s not good I’d like to replace it.

Well, I have never heard about software for router diagnostics, but I suppose that there must be something like that. I suppose that it would check whether the ports are open and download and upload speed or something like that. But I don’t think that this would be end solution because I suppose that you will have to contact your provider and tell him about the problems you have. This router must be checked for problems in some repair shop, because do-it-yourself method can be successful only if you are more experienced. Otherwise, it can only confuse you and you would still have to ask for a professional help.
