How safe is it to give out credit card info when paying over the internet? I've actually never done that before, and now that I've got an internet account opened, I'm not sure how to handle it. Some sites ask for an extra number in addition to the long one, a three-letter security code, should I give it to them? Also, the bank said I can call and have the card number locked down after a purchase, should I do this every time?
