I have been using Emule for a while and in folder where unfinished downloads are stored in, there are plenty of those part files. Some of them take ages to download, and I would at least like to get a preview. Can I somehow convert those files? I would really like to play some audio files I downloaded, they are almost completely finished 

LOL. I do not know if I have understood you correctly and if I know what you are talking about. It has been a while since I have last used Emule, but I remember some stuff that may be helpful. There is a program, if I remember correctly it is called VLC player, which can play media files, no matter if they are finished or not. You can have some rewinding of forwarding problems, if the file is not downloaded completely, but it is normal. So, if I remember correctly, there is no need for you to convert the files. I may be wrong, but try this out. Good luck
