Hello. I am using MS Outlook for a very long time, and I like it. My wife like it too, and she wanted one more copy for her. I did that. I installed MS Outlook on her Laptop, and she started to express her feelings trough add-ons for outlook…. God knows how many of them she got installed so far. The alerts are everywhere. Security alert threats because of 3rd party software that may contain viruses, etc. I believe this is true, but I don’t see anything else wrong with the notebook, except those alerts. How to get rid of them? Thanks in advance.

Well I don’t know about older versions of Outlook but version 2003 and version 2007 are easily manageable. I think that you cannot disable those alerts but switch to ‘rings and bells” instead watching pop-ups. Everything is there inside Tools menu and the Alerts and notes section. You’ll find a box to confirm Outlook warning messages. After you enable this once you won’t get those annoying alert messages, they will be replaced with silent whistles.
