Outlook Express Spellchecking question

Spellchecking in Outlook Express suddenly stopped working. It got disabled by itself, and when I try to enable it, I get the error that spell check cannot be run. Spell check in office 2003 (Microsoft Word) still works fine. Both English and French language (although the latter I am not using)

There are two main causes for this behavior, and the both involve registry editing for problem solution. Check them out on Microsoft knowledge base and see what is your case: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q178238 or http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;224176. In any case you should backup your registry to make recovery possible in case something goes wrong.
