| I have been using the internet for last two years and everything worked fine. However, since few months ago, I could not defend from viruses, especially Trojans. I even reinstalled my Windows XP couple of times but it did not help me for a long. After a day or two on the Internet and I have the same problems. Since yesterday, I start using Opera. Now I have more trouble with mouse gestures in Opera. Can Opera work on MAC OS? |

| There are other browsers beside the Internet explorer. Opera is definitely one of the most popular browsers on the net. I think there is version that could work on MAC OS. Many users think that it is better then Explorer. I do not think that your problems are related to using Explorer. As you can see, other browsers are also not immune to problems. I am also spending much time on the Internet, I am using Internet Explorer, and I do not have any problems. That my opinion is right shows that first place as the most popular internet browser goes to Internet explorer. You just need some reliable anti-spyware software like SpyBot, which is efficient and free. I do not know that thing about adware, but I am sure if it comes with SpyBot, it is not dangerous. You also need some good anti-virus software, which is efficient and free. I personally use AVG Free and I am completely satisfied. If you have XP for your operating system, you will also need SP 2 to be installed. |
