Old AC97 sound card, looking for drivers

| Hey there. Where can I find old AC 97 drivers, I cannot install my system if I don’t find them. I had them all on a CD, all the drivers at one place- but there is some read error and I cannot copy the file. Now, I am not really experienced when it comes to installation…So can someone tell me what to do about it? |

| Well, it shouldn’t be hard to find the drivers on the net. I mean, the fact that it is old also means that it could also be recognized by the operative system, without any need for the driver. But, there are many sites where you can find drivers for every operative system, including those other than Windows. You just need to know the exact type of your graphic card, and if you don’t it can be a little problem. Of course, you can also find software which recognizes hardware and determine the type of your card. Anyway, it is not as difficult as it may seem to you at the first glance. |
