I am not able to find the latest drivers for my new laptop. IT is HP Compaq 6720s I am talking about. I am trying to make Windows XP function on it, but there is trouble everywhere. Now my network card is not functioning, and I guess the driver is a bit older. What do you think about it? Does anyone know what I should do?

Well, I think you should look for the drivers using the code of your chip, maybe it is easier to locate what you really need. As for installing Windows XP on laptop computers that are designed for Windows Vista, I have heard that it can be quite tricky. They almost made it impossible for a user to install Windows XP without many difficulties. I know that sometimes it is even necessary to download the BIOS upgrade, in order to make it functional, and not only the latest drivers. So, I think that you should visit manufacturers site, and see what they say there. I hope you will be able to manage it
