| I do not think that your problem has anything with your LAN card. Also, I don't think that you have the problem with its Vista drivers. However, if you want you can find the newest drivers on the manufacturer site. I am certain that your operating system is infected with some virus. Its job is to aloud access to hard drive content on your computer to its owner. Those types of viruses are common on the Internet. I also had to reinstall my XP twice because of torrent using. That was at the beginning. However, from my personal experience I found out what to use for protection. The protection that I have been using for last six months is combination of AVG Free and Seagate Personal firewall and I do not have any problems. First, use AVG Free to clean all viruses from your computer and after that, install Seagate Personal firewall. I think you will be safe enough after that. |
