Hello there. I have hear that routers are able to operate without never being turned off. For the whole year, maybe even two, I don't know. Well, if this is true, than I don't know why do I need to restart or to turn this piece of crap of mine in order to establish the link when it just refuses to send/receive packets without any reason. It is Huawei Echolife router. Any advice is appreciated.

This means that you might have signal interruption by some other home based device with ability to send the waves, I don't know. Cordless phones for example. I am just using my memory and healthy logic. I have heard that signal interruption is possible with home based devices like microwaves are for example.

Or, it means that you need to recreate the internet setup once again. To place the router on some place else in your room for start, perhaps you need to change the firmware of the hardware device. You have plenty things to try. Maybe you have bought the defective router. That happens too, as well.
