I am really disturbed because of new PCI sound card. Sound Blaster Audigy 4. As soon as I have plugged this card to the slot, my machine started to behave unexpectedly. After sudden reboot, probably right after hardware initialization, one more sudden reboot and that's the magic circle. Now, what am I supposed to do about this. To try some other slot or to get this card back to the manufacturer? Thanks in advance.

Sounds really nasty. These cards are very compatible with the other PCI devices, and IRQ sharing was never an issue regarding these models. That's all I can tell. No matter anything, you have disabled onboard sound before you have tried to mess around with the much better sound chip? Not all motherboards are able to support two different sound cards.... God knows what's with your OS in the first place, am I right? Reinstall Windows or disable onboard sound.
