| I do not think your Radeon video card is bad so you did not need to replace it. There are several possible reasons that might cause your problem with Asus motherboard. The simplest one would be an error in the process of downloading and your driver file might be damaged. To check that, you should try to download it once more and than try to reinstall it. Alternatively, you might not have a proper version of driver for your OS. Your version of drivers could be for some other OS like Linux or Windows Vista. In that case, you have to find and download the proper version of Radeon drivers for your OS. Last reason for your problem could be that your driver update may need some service pack or add-ons. If that is the problem, download and install them first. |
