Netgear router keeps asking me to logon, why?

I need info on PSU requirements. I spent many hours during the day on my Dell laptop. However, I have one strange problem. From time to time, my Dell laptop is switching on and off on its own. Friend told me that I probably should upgrade my PSU because my PSU voltage levels are too low. I also have a problem that my Dell Inspiron won’t pick up any network. Whenever I try to access my Netgear router, it keeps asking me to logon. Why?

Your friend obviously means that you have a week PSU for your Dell laptop and that you have to buy a bigger and "stronger" version of PSU, which can give your laptop more electric power. I have to disagree with him. By my experience, you have one of two problems. First, your PSU unit may be bad and that is why it is loosing its power from time to time. The second and more probable one reason is that you have a problem with overheating. The heating system of your Dell laptop is not working well and whenever your laptop reach the critical temperatures, BIOS turns it of to prevent the damage of the CPU. To check that, after next restart go to the BIOS and check the temperature of your processor and system. It should not be over 85 degrees. Your Netgear keeps asking you to logon because you accidentally change the Admin password on it. You can call technical support and ask them about the password, but I do not think that would help you in solving access problems. About wireless network, check the drivers for your wireless LAN card. If it is OK, you probably have a problem with your wireless signal, therefore try to install some access point.
