I've been using the internet for last three years and everything worked fine. However, since a month ago, I could not defend from viruses, especially Trojans. I even reinstalled my XP few times but it did not help me for a long. After a day or two on the Internet and I have the same problems. I decide to use Mozilla. How good is it? How many browsers are using Mozilla's Gecko engine?

There are other browsers beside the Internet explorer. Mozilla is definitely the popular web browsers. Opera is even more popular. However, Mozilla as most of the other popular browsers has compatibility problems. That is why you may experience problem in using any of those browsers. Personally, I do not think that your problems are related to using Explorer. I am also spending much time on the Internet, I am using Explorer, and I do not have any problems. That my opinion is right shows that first place as the most popular internet browser goes to Internet explorer. You just need some reliable anti-spyware software like SpyBot, which is efficient and free. You also need some good anti-virus software, which is efficient and free. I personally use AVG and I am completely satisfied. Those things will not slow your machine much and will give you enough protection.
