Can you tell me what the main focuses of the TrustedBSD project are? I’m a bit confused about this because I know that there is something called FreeBSD and that is an operative system. Is this a new operative system or something else that has to do with FreeBSD? I’d like to know this because I’m toying with the idea of start using FreeBSD.

I think that it is not a new operative system but actually a project whose aim is implementation of certain extensions into FreeBSD. This operative system is, I think still new and I believe that there are many things to be developed and this project works on the development. According to the official site, it has the role of providing a number of trusted operating system extensions. Anyway, the objectives of this project are numerous and you can find them on the site. The fact is that I think that FreeBSD is one of the best operative systems and that everybody who can, should try it. In order to use it you need to have an Intel x86 PC.
