There is something that is confusing me a lot. Is it possible to set up a LAN with two routers? I plan to create a small, home LAN and I have been doing some reading about the subject and I have come across this possibility. I don’t understand why anybody would use two routers for just one network. Can you clear this out for me?

There are cases when it is necessary to have two routers on one network. For example, when you want to create a wireless network and install a printer for wireless printing and when the router and printer are not in the same room. Then, in that case a second router will come in handy. I know that there should be some kind of adjustment performed so that everything can work properly. I think that if you just want an ordinary LAN, then there is no need for more than one router. I know that online instructions can be very confusing when it comes to LAN so I advise you to read some decent textbook about that.
