Hello. I wonder how much difficult can be for a potential phisher to avoid all possible risks today. I think it is more than a crime. Actually, I would treat phishing that way. What are punishments for such behaviors? I hope that law decisions are more than rough. Just because real money is going to go away pretty much soon. We won’t be able to see the cash anywhere! Just credit cards.

Hi. Like all other frauds and criminal activities involving ID theft are punishable by law since 1998. ID theft can be applied to phishing and we are talking about victim’s income in most cases. That’s polite stealing of money, of course it is punishable by law. The state of California is the most exhaustive.
