| I have a computer for last few months and it worked just fine. I have nVidia 7600GT card. However, until last summer, whenever I play some games with stronger graphic needs for a little longer, my computer freezes and restarts. I used some overclocking possibilities of my card according to my friends advises and now I think I have the problem with the cooling. Is overclocking really needed? Are water-cooling video card systems good? |

| You probably right in your diagnose. You are experiencing problems with overheating either of your nVidia 7600GT video card or of yours chipset or processor. That is the normal thing when you do overclocking. However, without overclocking the performance of your computer would be greatly reduced. Therefore, it would be the best for you to add some more cooling power to your system. There are water cooling systems for every of those computer parts. Those systems became popular, because classic coolers are prone to blocking. However, those systems are quite expensive. Therefore, in the last period, the most popular is passive cooling system with heatsink. Those systems are practically undestroyable, and I like them the most. They do not need any kind of cleaning or maintenance. If you aid them with few case coolers, I think you will be safe enough. |
