| There are 20 PCs in my office, connected in the network. But not all of them can access the Internet. As I understand, I I set the server address, and the addresses of several workstations, but I set some of them as Automatic from DHCP. Now, they can not all share Internet, and only those PC getting their IP addresses from DHCP , can access the Internet. What shall I do? |

| Hey there. You should have used the same method for every computer, when setting the way they should be assigned their addresses. Either all of them should automatically get their addresses or they should use manual IP address. Unless you set your network that way the computers will not be able to communicate with each other, and not all of them will have the same priorities. As for the internet connection sharing problem you’ve mentioned, I guess the service has set up the LAN card only for automatic IP addresses. What you should do is change the settings of those PCs that were assigned their addresses manually Or, if you prefer, assign the IP address manually to every PC, which is quite boring and unnecessary action |
