Hello. This sounds quite interesting doesn't it? I believe that procedure is much more faster and not only that, it probably expands my optical drive end date. That's more or less important, all I would like to know is how to prepare the machine for the task like this one is? I'll appreciate any advice or tip.
Again, Vista is not normal. You will need two different hard drives. Format the targeted disk to NTFS, than copy the boot and sources directory together with the bootmgr file in the root of the targeted partition. Imagine now X as your drive letter, than open CMD prompt and type this (only those within quotas): "X:" >"cd /boot">"bootsect X:". Boot from the disk. Windows setup should load. Choose repair, skip trough the prompts until you have reached to the CMD prompt. Than issue few more commands: "C:"> "CD /boot"> "del bcd"> "bcedit /createstore"> "cd ../sources"> "setup".... and just sit back and relax afterward.
