Hi there people. I have noticed that it is pretty much hard to improve the picture quality after resizing the image from smaller to larger dimension. I tried to change the DPI from 72 to 96 or even 150, which makes the image even larger, but artifacts are present and I don’t like what I see on my display. Is there any trick to improve or to preserve the original quality of 320*240 to 1024*768 for example? Thanks in advance.

Hello. It is pretty hard job to keep the image sharpness when you are resizing from lower to higher resolution. I somehow found the method which can adjust the corners and remove distortion from the image after resizing. I am talking about Photoshop and its two filters. One of them is surface blur and the other is Diffuse glow. Try to play with these two. When you change the resolution, apply the surface blur effect and than see how much strong diffuse glow you want to apply.
