Hello. I am running Windows XP Professional operating system with Service Pack 2 installed and Internet Explorer as my default browser. Now, I have installed Opera and I want to remove Internet Explorer from my system. But (as you probably guessing), I am not sure how to do that. I have tried to remove it from Add or Remove Programs, but I have not found there Internet Explorer.

Hello. You should search for Internet Explorer in Add/Remove Windows components. I will explain you this, but, before this I can tell you that you can set Opera as your default browser and left Internet Explorer on your system. If you do not want to do this, then click Start, open Control Panel, open Add or remove Programs, open Add/Remove Windows components, find Internet Explorer in the list and remove it.
