Hello. I suppose that everything is almost the same for every type of PCI hardware device, and I think that I did everything just ok, but no matter that, my PCI USB interface card, 4 in 1, is actually there, plugged to the motherboard and when I connect any USB device, I am receiving hardware malfunction error. Where did I made a mistake? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Go and check where is that PCI USB adapter connected to. Maybe you should change PCI slot position. The IRQ channels are in wrong order perhaps. First take a look inside the case. Those new drivers, system should recognize after repeated detection, just put the drivers CD in the drive and point automatic system search to the right location.
