Hello. I tried to copy the installation Linux Mandriva CD on my hard drive, to make one for my self later. I have burned the disc using K3B, tried to install it later again on my machine, but nothing happens at boot time! My copy of the Mandriva just wont work. I dont know where I did a mistake, but I just know that I didnt made bootable CD, the way I wanted. How to do this? Thanks in advance.

First, you better ensure your self with a couple of blank CDs for testing purposes. Do you know how to build a kernel? Because this is what you are going to do before you start burning the bootable image CD plus a lot of other small things. Heh, the best and the most common practice for many users is to clone already checked bootable CD, using Nero from Windows or other burning app. that supports CD cloning or CD copy.
