How often do you go on internet?

How often do you go on the internet? I have a problem with my parents as they keep on criticizing me about how often I’m surfing the net and playing games. Do you think that apart form the fact that this activity is not so healthy, there are some other reasons why I should reduce it? I like surfing and I spend at least a couple of hours a day in front of my PC.

Well, since I have cable internet and I never turn my PC off, I’m always on the internet. This, of course, doesn’t mean that I’m surfing all day long. But I can say that due to the nature of my work I simply have to be on the internet a couple of hours a day. I spend only a small portion of that time browsing the net in search of entertaining content. Most of the time I’m working and that is how I use the internet. I think that your parents are right. If you can’t stop surfing the net and if you suspect that you have become addicted, then I suggest you to spend some time outside, walking or running through the park and try to beat the addiction that way.
