I have a home network consisting of three PCs. I haven’t installed and set it up on my own but I hired a professional, so I guess that everything was properly connected. And it worked well for some time. But recently I’ve noticed that I can’t access another two PCs from the third one. I have no idea what could be the problem because I haven’t changed the settings. Any ideas about this file sharing problem?

That could be absolutely everything, from hardware problem to some accidentally changed settings. I’d recommend you to check up the firewall on that PC because it’s possible that you’ve installed a new firewall and forgot about it, or maybe you updated Windows firewall and anti-virus protection, which sometimes requires that you create some new rules which will allow for undisturbed communication between PCs. Another thing is that you haven’t told us whether the other two PCs can have access to files on that PC. I’ve never encountered such a problem, because whenever something was wrong, the whole network didn’t work and this partial inability for file sharing could really be anything. Have you tried to turn off the router and turn it off again? Maybe there was jammed traffic.
