I have a question. I want to switch from Windows to some free platform and I have tried using Linux but it didn’t work for me. So I have heard about UNIX based FBSD platform. I’d like to start using and I’m wondering whether I can set up a print network with it. What are your experiences with FBSD print server?

FBSD is and excellent choice. I have read that it can be used as a print server. The good thing about is that it is free, as its name describes. Another good thing is that it can be used for printing with a number of printers regardless of how old they are. So, if you have an older model you don’t have to worry because FBSD supports everything. I can’t tell you how to set up this network but I’m sure that there are some instructions on their web site. If you are experienced enough you will manage to do this with no pain. Just follow the instructions carefully and everything will be just fine.
