I have a dilemma. Do I need extra cooling- extra fan/ heatsink? My CPU is working at 60 degrees and my motherboard reaches some 40 degrees, and I am not sure if it is normal or not. I would really like to do something about it, I am afraid they will just melt one day  What is your opinion in this?

Well, I think extra cooling is always good. Not that I think that those temperature values you have mentioned are abnormal somehow. They are a bit higher than expected average, but nothing to be afraid about. Maybe an extra cooling system would help a bit, and prolong its lifespan, but I do not think you would ever use it that long so that you would notice it. The last one I bought was StarTech.com Heatsink and Fan Universal, it goes on any type of processor , and does the perfect job.It is not expensive too, so I may suggest you try it out.I think it would work perfectly for you too.
