It seems that virus makers are getting more and more cunning. Yesterday I have heard about e mails that lure you to visit web site with VML exploit. Friend that told me this information knew nothing more about this security threat. Can you explain to me how this mail looks up and what can happen to my computer?

Hello. Fortunately, this is not a new threat but over a year old. Interestingly, it is still active. You will receive an email claiming that you have received Yahoo greeting card and that you should follow link in a mail to collect that card. When you visit web site designated in that link virus will install itself in Internet Explorer and will send all information that you enter in a forms on internet to a third party that collects this information.
