Hi there. It seems that I just cannot use my Notebook on the way I planned to. Sometimes the external display stays dark without picture or the main display slashes few times and then appear black. Also, I have noticed that when I switch from an S-Video connection to the DVI connection, it happens that I am able to see only mouse cursor moving without any image in the background. Ok, now next time when this happens I want to be prepared for some workout, as I really hope there is at least one. Thanks in advance.

Hi. Have you tried to do nothing except to wait for not more than 5 seconds? It should resize it self after. If there is nothing going on still, than go to the Displays pane on the System Preferences and check the detect displays button. Hmm, the third solution is to turn on the mirroring mode by pressing the F7 key. I don’t know what else can I suggest.
