Yesterday I bought external USB HDD Maxtor OneTouch with USB hub and it worked just fine. Since this morning, I have been experiencing some problem. I have difficulties in getting my external USB drive to work. When I want to access it, my USB drive always reports an error. Should I choose another manufacture or maybe my USB hub is gone?

I don't think that your problem is related either with your USB drive manufacturer (Maxtor) or your USB hub. You did not experience problem with accessing your Maxtor OneTouch drive from the beginning. Therefore, I think you should check what you did on your computer since yesterday. Maybe you installed some new driver or software that could cause your problem with accessing your Maxtor OneTouch drive. Maybe your drive just has some temporary problem. Because of that, you should try to reformat it once again. In addition, there is a possibility that you have some virus or adware that cause your problem. You should do a complete check of your machine.
